Fire protection concept for a gas station neighboring a high-rise complex

A high-rise complex with shopping malls, offices, apartments, restaurants and a SPA area next to a gas station is under construction in Tallinn, Estonia. This challenging location requires an extended fire protection concept for the gas station.

Due to the proximity to the new building complex, special fire protection requirements have been set for the gas station. The concept includes two electrically controlled M2 firefighting monitors, which are supplied with premix through an FD3000 proportioner and use the fluorine-free foam agent Fomtec ENVIRO USP.

Our Estonian partner Firetek has taken over the planning and implementation of this task in 2020. Completion is scheduled by the end of 2023, while the opening of the building complex is expected for 2024.
